Thanks to all who joined us for a magical and inspiring long weekend of making, music and merriment at Port Eliot Festival 2016.

Over 650 festivalgoers took part in the free workshops from our makers, with the support of Plymouth University and their brilliant, unstinting students. We were honoured to have such wonderful makers who so generously gave up their time to demonstrate their skills during the festival – thanks to all involved:

And, of course, not forgetting the good folk from Golden Age Public Houses for setting up The Peg & Mallet, our very own pop-up pub; Yallah Coffee for providing the best coffee on site and Amateurism DJs and Prah Recordings/Moshi Moshi Records for supplying the perfect soundtrack to our days and nights at Port Eliot.

With the sad news of the passing of Peregrine Eliot, 10th Earl of St Germans, shortly before the festival began this year, we promised we’d try to do the great man proud – and thanks to all those listed above we think we managed to do just that. Finally, for everything, love and respect from all at Hole & Corner goes to Cathy St Germans.
