Issue 03: Things to Learn & Do

We asked some of the most interesting people we knew to tell us what most interests them: who has inspired them and what lessons they've learned along the way.

The results are an intriguing mix – from stained-glass artist Tom Denny to photographic print master Brian Dowling; from dry stone waller Ann Stewart to cocktail maker Tony Conigliaro.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive meeting of great minds, we open the doors of Charleston Farmhouse to celebrate the art of conversation, reuniting various figures associated with the Bloomsbury Set.

We also meet two MBEs – Robin Wood and Des Pawson, honoured for their services to woodturning and knot making respectively – as well as exploring the link between tool and finished object in a unique photographic project.
