Dawson Denim - Duffel Bag

150.00

The duffel bag became popular during WWII, when its simple design was used for kit bags. The bag's name – along with the similarly-titled Duffle coat – originates from the Belgian town of Duffel, where a heavy woollen cloth was produced.
The bag is made from:
- 14oz Japanese red line selvage denim
- 8oz/3.5mm Italian Vegetable tanned cowhide base and panel
- Marine steel shackle
- Fully lined with a French Pillow Case stripe cotton
- British made rope from a 400-year-old master rope maker
- Copper grommets and rivets

It can be worn by a strap across the body or loop over the shoulder.

All Dawson Denim goods are made in their specialist workshop in Brighton, Great Britain.
The bag measures : 12" wide x 37" depth
We recommend not to wash this product.
